BOMBSHELL: former EFCC boss exposes sponsors of banditry

Bandits were created by General Mohammed Buhari. Then bandits were neither Boko Haram nor herdsmen. They were created to oust President Ebele Jonathan from power. It started in April 2014 when Buhari assembled his ardent supporters, promoters and his strategists to determine how to remove President Jonathan from office. Prominent among these Buharists were Nasir El Rufai, General Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau and others. A decision was reached to consult the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association for assistance to boot out president Jonathan from office.Consequently, the Miyetti Allah national chair was asked to bring in foreign mercenaries. Within a month, 2000 Fulani fighters were brought into Nigeria from Mali, Senegal, the Republic of Niger, Chad, and Libya. Furthermore, 4000 fighters were stationed in Niger Republic and Chad on standby. On arrival, the mercenaries were assembled in Kaduna under El Rufai's sponsorship. They were addressed there by various Northern leaders including the Sultan of Sokoto General Saad Abubakar. For Buhari, in his address, he told the mercenaries that the British handed Nigeria to the Fulanis at independence; that the land Nigeria belong to the Fulani. He said in the event of Jonathan winning the coming Presidential election, the Fulani machinery must fight until they regain control of the country. Buhari assured them the Nigerian Army was behind them. The fighters received initial training at the Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna. They were then sent to six camps in the states of Ekiti,Benue, Katsina, Kaduna, Zamfara and Borno. Brand new Pick up trucks, generators, were provided them.Nigerian Air Force helicopters were used to provide them with essential supplies such as food, water, drinks and arms and ammunition. When Jonathan miraculously lost election in 2015, under a well organized election led by a professor of Political Science, Attahiru Jega. Thereafter, Buhari was sworn in as President, Chief Executive and Commander in Chief of Nigeria. Thus, the emergence of Buhari as President averted violent war over the plan for a Fulani takeover of Nigeria as a Fulani owned nation state. Contrary to expectations, the mercenaries in various camps were abandoned, no more food supplies. The relationship between El Rufai, now the governor of Kaduna State and General Dambazau, Buhari's first minister of the Interior broke down. Governor El Rufai arrogantly said the mercenaries were no longer needed and that they should go back to where they came from. Subsequently, the killings in Kaduna, Benue, Zamfara commenced as warning to the government. But they were unperturbed.El Rufai declared he had paid them which was why the Police never bothered to investigate further. The mercenaries at various camps resorted to armed robbery and kidnapping farmers for food. The mercenaries appealed to El Rufai and Dambazau to find them money with which to return to where they came from. All proved abortive, then the mercenaries vacated their camps and took to crime. It was the criminal gangs emanating from the mercenaries that were finally named bandits; to differentiate them from Boko Haram. Thereafter, President Buhari requested Miyetti Allah to remove bandits from Nigeria. Miyetti Allah in return, demanded N150 billion to settle the bandits. Buhari paid N100 billion. Governor of the Central bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele raised the money as a condition for his re-appointment as CBN governor for second term. Miyetti Allah collected the money but nothing changed. To control the damage, Buhari tried to create Rural Grazing colonies but the colonies failed to flourish because the states opposed the creation of such colonies though grants were given any states that created them. This report has been attributed to the former Economic and Financial Crimes Commission boss, Deputy Superintendent of Police Nuhu Ribadu. However, it must have been written by an operative of the Directorate of Military Intelligence.
