Designing the Life of Your Dreams (2)

By Bayo Ogunmupe Now that you've tuned into your longing and discontent and listened to your gut, your inner guiding light, you can begin to answer the question, "What would I love doing? This you must do to accelerate your journey by crystalizing your vision. The following exercise will help you go deeper, so that you can create a crystal clear image of the life you would love living. Before setting forth, here are some tips.1, Give yourself space to imagine what you would love for every area of your life, no matter your current circumstances. 2: Take all the time you need to think of what your ideal life would look like. Allow your imagination to come alive as you picture your Eldorado in vivid detail, using all your senses; feeling it, seeing it, hearing conversations in the new era. Certainly a dream home should be part of your dream life. Include it in the vision. 3: Don't think about how you are going to make this dream come true. Don't bother how you are going to achieve it; reserve that to the Almighty. The how isn't part of the visualization process. Forgo all limitations, just allow yourself to dream as freely as you can. Take a moment to listen to your guided meditation. Practice suchlike meditations before you rise in the morning and before you go to bed at night. Now describe in vivid detail how you would love to live in all the four areas of your health, relationships, your career and financial freedom. Also include how to ensure your dream is worthy of you. In so doing, you've created a clear vision of your dream. Even so you must test if your dream is worthy of you. If you skip this step, you could waste precious time and energy chasing a dream that won't actually bring you joy and fulfillment once you achieve it. Whatever you conceive and believe you can achieve. But for your dream to be worthy of you, it must give you happiness. 2, It must be in alignment with what matters most to you. When your dream is in alignment with everything you care about, your commitment to manifesting it into your reality will be stronger than ever before. 3: For your dream to be worthy of you, it must require that you grow. The Talmud, a bible of Jewish law says "Every blade of grass has an angel leaning over it whispering, "Grow, grow, grow." Life is about growth; it seeks to expand through every outlet and you as a part of life, that same pull of becoming is in you. So your dream must require that you step into a larger dimension of yourself. When you imagine yourself stepping into that dream, if you see expansion, then that dream is right for you. 4: Your dream must need help from a higher power to enable you achieve it. In order to find out what you are truly capable of, you have to allow your dream to build you; not just relying on yourself to build the dream alone. 5: For the dream to be worthy of you, it must have some good in it for others. The Universe cares very much about experiencing a better, more expanded life through everyone. not just you. So your dream in order to have the full support of the Universe, must in some way make a difference for good in the world. So, in testing the dream you will ask: "Is this dream worthy of me trading my life to build it?" For each of the four areas of your life you must answer these questions: Does my dream give me happiness? Does it align with my core values? Will my dream require me to grow? Do I need help from a Higher Power to accomplish my dream? And, is there some good in my dream for others? If your dream didn't pass this test then you should dump it. By reminding yourself of those questions from time to time, following this map diligently, abjuring bad advice and sabotage, you make your dream inevitable.
