You will only have good ideas if you create time to think and value ideas. Otherwise you will drift through life living off other people's ideas and bolstering their dreams. Creative thinkers tackle life in many ways. Some of these are as follows: One, creative people explore options in problem solving. They don't restrict themselves to any particular principle. Exploring a multitude of possibilities stimulates your imagination, and imagination is crucial to creativity. The genius of the twentieth century, Albert Einstein once said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge." You must use your imagination to be able to put your knowledge to work.
Two, creative thinkers embrace ambiguity. There isn't any reason to stamp out uncertainty. They see inconsistencies as gaps in life and they delight in using their imagination to fill those gaps. When the creative person sees an unmet need, he looks for ways to meet that need. Which is why he celebrates the offbeat. Creativity explores the strange territory off the beaten track. To foster creativity you must be able to tolerate oddities and illogicality. Three, creative people are not afraid of failure. American philosopher Charles Frankel said, "Anxiety is an essential condition of intellectual and artistic creation." Thus, creativity requires a willingness to look stupid. It means going out on one limb knowing that limbs break. Creative people refuse to allow failure to deter them from coming up with winning ideas.
Four, 'Be fruitful and multiply,' Genesis 1:28 is one of the credos of creative people. Your Heavenly Father created the world in His image; meaning you are wired to think creatively. The sheep God made give wool, from which we create beautiful fabrics in differing colours for matching outfits. God didn't make cheese; He made cows that give milk that give milk so that we can create cheese from it. God wants you to end up with more than you started out with. To do that you must think creatively. Instead of simply accepting what is, you must take what is, and make something more out of it. When you do that you are following your heavenly Father's footsteps. "The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof, the world, and they that dwell therein,"Psalm 24:1. Wherever you are, whoever you are, whatever you do in life, Jehovah wants you to put your creativity to work so that glorify Him and bless others. Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have.
Five, "Speak to all who are gifted artisans," Exodus 28:3. God gives us artistic ability, when we use it we glorify Him. By acknowledging that Jehovah made you to be creative, by asking Him to reveal areas of your talent and creativity, by valuing creative ideas you glorify Jehovah. Creativity is being able to see what everybody has seen, and think what nobody else has thought, so that you can do what nobody else has done. Sometimes, creative thinking lies along the lines of invention, where you break new grounds. Other times, it moves along the lines of innovation which helps you to do old things in a new way. Creativity involves work, which is why many people tend to avoid it. But if you are willing to work at being creative, God will not only bless the work of your hands, He will use you to do great things.
"Then you will be prosperous and successful,"Joshua 1:8. God told Joshua: "The Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous and have good success."Joshua 8. It is very simple to achieve success in the eyes of God. God's admonitions are the guide principles creative people follow. For you to attain success in your creative enterprises, the book of the Law shall never depart from your mouth; success entails making God's Word a constant part of your life. This may mean a radical change in your way of life. You just can't leave home without the Word of God guiding you and you living by it.That is how creativity can catalyze your success in life.
